Windward is Perfect for hosting student and Research Groups
At Windward Lodge, we work along with Tobacco Caye Marine Station to host student groups between December-August annually. However, if you’d like for us to host your group, you can book directly with us.
We offer clean, affordable budget room accommodations for students or large travel groups. These rooms each have bunk beds and multiple showers and toilets to accommodate large groups. Purified drinking water is available in our dining room. We recommend that you bring along a reusable water bottle BUT if you forget, you can always purchase one in our gift shop.
We understand that great dining is an essential part of your stay, so we’re committed to providing you with a culinary experience that goes beyond the ordinary. We offer three healthy, well-balanced meals each day that suit your dietary needs. With your meals, you can enjoy fresh fruit juices, water, coffee/tea and decadent desserts at dinner time.
Students/travel groups can also enjoy our open facilities. Whether you want to be active and play volleyball, bocce ball, or cornhole, or just relax in a hammock and read a good book, Windward Lodge offers it all. You can also hop on one of our paddle boards or kayaks and paddle right out to the reef. There are many activities for your group to participate in on the island.
We can offer you the perfect hub for your study needs. You’ll be able to snorkel off the beach and explore seagrass beds, coral reefs, and some mangrove ecosystems. You can also choose to explore with one of our many snorkel tours (special prices available for student groups/travel groups).
